CIV is a black-owned and controlled technology investment holding company. The company is privately own by CIV Holdings (Pty) Ltd, New GX Capital Holdings (Pty) Ltd and Founder Management. Both Community Investment Holdings and New GX Capital Holdings are 100% black owned companies. Together they own "56"% of CIV.
